CLERMONT COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Bobbie Jo Beckelhymer, of Moscow, Ohio, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by two trucks after her vehicle became disabled Friday on Interstate 275 in Clermont County.
Beckelhymer, 43, was killed after she was hit by a pair of trucks in Cincinnati on Friday morning.
According to reports, Beckelhymer had exited a disabled vehicle while on the center lane of I-275 near Beechmont Avenue, when a box truck rear ended her and her vehicle around 6:30 a.m. Friday. Beckelhymer was then struck by a passing semi-tractor.
“From what we’ve gathered, she was outside her vehicle toward the front left portion, when the box truck struck the rear of her vehicle. the box truck then struck the pedestrian. Which then, pedestrian was then struck by the semi,” Ohio State Patrol Sgt. Joseph Westhoven said.
Beckelhymer was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver of a fourth involved vehicle that came into contact with Beckelhymer’s vehicle suffered minor injuries.
No one was cited at the scene.
