MARION COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Marc Kellams, of Bargersville, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal multi-vehicle crash in Marion County.
Kellams, 73, a retired Judge and St. Charles Bloomington Deacon, was killed in a four-vehicle crash in Indianapolis on late Friday afternoon.
According to reports, Kellams was operating an Acura SUV on Interstate 465 near Interstate 70 in Indianapolis, when the vehicle was involved in a wreck with a box truck a two other vehicles around 4:20 p.m. Friday.
Kellams and his female passenger became entrapped in the vehicle.
Kellams was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The female passenger was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. She was later listed in stable condition.
A passenger in a box truck was also transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
