SEVIER COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Zachary Gorman, of Knoxville, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal motorcycle crash following a police pursuit in Sevier County.
“Zach” Gorman, 32, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near Gatlinburg Saturday night.
According to reports, police were pursuing a motorcycle on Parkway near McCarter Road in Gatlinburg, when the bike ran a red light and made contact with a Honda Odyssey.
Gorman, who was ejected from the bike during the collision, was then run over by another vehicle.
Gorman was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
No other injuries were reported during the deadly incident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
