JEFFERSON COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Mary Mara, an accomplished actress who appeared in countless television series throughout the 1990s and 2000s, has died Sunday in an apparent Jefferson County drowning, New York officials say.
Mara’s body was recovered around 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 26, in the St. Lawrence River in the town of Cape Vincent.
Her body showed no signs of foul play, and troopers believe she drowned while swimming.
Mara was staying at the summer home of her sister, Martha Mara, located at 33734 Grovemore Rd., Cape Vincent in NY.
