FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Gret Glyer of Fairfax, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in an apparent home invasion in Fairfax County early Friday.
Glyer, 32, the CEO of global crowdfunding platform, DonorSee, was fatally shot in his home overnight Friday. Two young children were inside the dwelling at the time of the deadly incident.
According to reports officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 9800 block of Bolton Village Court around 3 a.m. Friday. When they arrived, the backdoor was found open and Glyer was discovered suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. There were two children reported to be in the house.
The condition of the children is unknown.
Glyer was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshow injuries.
