WASHINGTON COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — John Gagner of Baileyville, Maine, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday vehicle crash in Washington County.
Gagner, 43, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Princeton late Wednesday morning.
According to reports Gagner was operating a pickup truck on Highway 1 in Princeton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a substantial tree.
Gagner ws pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
