WILL COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy Carr of Channahon, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday vehicle crash in Will County.
Carr, 24, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning near Lockport Township.
According to reports, Carr was operating a Chevy pickup truck on Briggs Street near Rosalind Street in Lockport, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a culvert and flipped over.
Carr, who was ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
