PREBLE COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Aaron Jordan Whitesell of Middletown, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal vehicle crash in Preble County.
Whitesell, 27, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Gratis Township Friday night.
According to reports, Whitesell was operating a vehicle on Greenbush Road near Camden, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crosse centerlines and exited the roadway around 7:45 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with a utility power pole.
When first responders arrived, power lines were found wrapped around the vehicle.
The new father was eventually extricated from the vehicle before being pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
