GREENE COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Britany Toothman and Ronica Tollison, both of Willard, Missouri, have been identified as the victims in a Sunday double-fatal vehicle crash in Greene County.
Toothman, 34, and 37-year-old Tollison, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash near Springfield early Sunday.
According to reports, Tollison was operating a Chevy Silverado on North West Bypass near West Chestnut Expressway in Springfield, when the vehicle came into contact with a Ford F350 pickup truck around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Both women were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver, who has not been publicly identified, was arrested at the scene for impaired driving.
The Springfield Police Department is continuing to investigate this incident.
