LAWRENCE COUNTY, SD. (THECOUNT) — Dreau Rogers, of Spearfish, South Dakota, has been identified as the suspect arrested in Lawrence County in the Saturday shooting death of his wife, 43-year-old Destiny Rogers.
Dreau Rogers, 33, is accused in the fatal shooting of Destiny Rogers in Spearfish early Saturday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a 911 call asking for medical assistance on Saturday around 12:50 a.m. When they arrived, Destiny Rogers was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Destiny Rogers was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Dreau Rogers was arrested and charged with first degree murder. He is also charged with possession and ingestion of a controlled substance.
