POTTER COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Amarillo Police Department Cpl. Mike Sanchez has died at 45 after a battle with COVID.
Cpl. Sanchez worked with APD since 2005, serving “honorably in various positions” with his final assignment as an expert Traffic Crash Investigator.
The Amarillo Police Department confirmed Cpl. Mike Sanchez died after a battle with COVID-19 Monday morning.
APD said Cpl. Sanchez leaves behind a wife, Brandi Jo and five children.
