COOK COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Giuseppe Calo, of Streamwood, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a fatal multi-vehicle crash in Cook County.
Calo, 21, was killed in a three-vehicle crash near Streamwood Thursday night.
According to reports, Calo was operating a Honda S200 on Route 59 and Irving Park Road, when the vehicle came into contact with a Kia Optima and Jeep Wrangler around 9 p.m. Thursday.
Calo was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Officials say they are seeking the driver of an unknown black SUV who they believe is responsible for causing the crash.
No injuries were reported.
