KENT COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Kendall Therese Frost, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal shooting in Kent County.

Frost, 20, a relative of Kent County Commissioner Robert S. Womack, was fatally shot in Grand Rapids Tuesday night.

According to reports, Front was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds near Griggs Street Southeast and Paris Avenue Southeast in Grand Rapids Tuesday around 8 p.m.

Frost was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Womack took to Facebook to ask for the community’s help to find the shooter:

“They shot and killed my little cousin. Why would anyone of you do something like this?” Womack wrote in the post.

“She was slain for no reason on Tuesday night near Paris and Griggs in the 49507. To the streets, ya’ll know I help everyone that I can. Today I need the streets to help me!” Womack wrote.
