SCOTT COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Samuel Wires, of Davenport, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday morning fatal shooting in Scott County.
Wires, 35, was fatally shot at Davenport men’s club, Deja Vu Showgirls, early Sunday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 5200 block of Grand Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, officers discovered Wires suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Wires was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
