MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — John Michael Jones, of Luverne, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning fatal vehicle crash in Montgomery County.
Jones, 31, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor near Lapine early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Jones was operating a vehicle on US-331 near Lapine, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a big-rig around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
