KENTON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Jeffrey Alden, of Burlington, Kentucky, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle strike in Kenton County.
Alden, 34, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle near Covington Wednesday night.
According to reports, Alden was on-foot in the area of Interstate 71/75 in Covington, when he was struck by a passing vehicle around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Alden was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained on-scene and is not expected to face any charges.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
