CUMING COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Lance Arthaloney, of Lincoln, Nebraska and Martha Pena Rodriguez, of West Point, Nebraska, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal vehicle crash Wednesday in Cuming County.
Arthaloney, 56, and Rodriguez, 60, were both killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash near Wisner Wednesday night.
According to reports, Arthaloney was operating a vehicle on US-275 near Omaha, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a second vehicle, operated by Mario Albert Campos-Villalobos, around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Arthaloney and Rodriguez, a passenger of the second vehicle, were both pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Campos-Villalobos, 51, of West Point, Nebraska, was transported to an area for unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
