MEXICO. (THECOUNT) — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.0 was registered with an epicenter in Acapulco, Guerrero, area Tuesday night, according to USGS.
The shaker triggered the activation of the seismic alert in Mexico City.
The earthquake was registered 10 kilometers southwest of Acapulco, while the Mexican Seismic Alert System (SASMEX) announced that the alert was activated in various parts of Mexico City.
