WESTMORELAND COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Thomas Edward McClellan, of Colonial Beach, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Westmoreland County.
McClellan, 47, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Colonial Beach on Sunday night.

According to reports, McClellan was operating a Suzuki motorcycle on Pomona Road in Colonial Beach, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The bike then came into contact with a tree stump.
McClellan was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
