BOURBON COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Ira Parnell Toshavik, of Gardner, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning fatal motorcycle crash in Bourbon County.
Toshavik, 48, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near Fort Scott Saturday morning.
According to reports, Toshavik was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Highway 69 near South National Avenue in Fort Scott, when the bike came into contact with a passenger vehicle around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Toshavik was transported to an area hospital where was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the passenger vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
