FREDERICK COUNTY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Courtney, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday morning motorcycle crash in Frederick County, Maryland.
Courtney, 27, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash in Frederick early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Courtney was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Ballenger Creek Pike near Solarex Court in Frederick, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The bike then made contact with a median curb.
Courtney was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
