YORK COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Michael Stoey, of DuBois, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday vehicle crash in York County.
“Mike” Stoey, 57, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Newberry Township Thursday night.
According to reports, Stoey was operating a vehicle in the 600 block of Potts Hill Road in Goldsboro, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a utility pole.
Stoey was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash was ruled accidental.
