ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP, PA. (THECOUNT) — Sierra Farabaugh, of Duncansville, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal single-motorcycle crash in Allegheny Township.
Farabaugh, 21, was killed while riding as a passenger on a motorcycle near Loretto Sunday night.
According to reports, Farabaugh was traveling on a motorcycle operated by a male on Columbia Street near Loretto, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11:15 p.m. Sunday. The bike then traveled through a field before ejecting both riders.
The man operating the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Farabaugh, who became trapped under the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene of asphyxiation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
