HANCOCK COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Richard Goodwin, of Stonington, Maine, has been identified as the victim killed in a Tuesday afternoon two-vehicle crash in Hancock County.
Goodwin, 53, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Blue Hill Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, Goodwin was operating a pickup truck on Ellsworth Road in Blue Hill, When for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 5 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a pickup truck, occupied by William Webb, 47, and 45-year-old Doris Webb, both of Blue Hill.
Goodwin was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The Webbs were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
