ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Eli Boyd, of O’Fallon, Missouri, has been identified as one of two victims in an early Monday morning vehicle crash in St. Louis County.
Boyd, 20, and an unidentified passenger, were both killed near St. Louis Monday morning.
According to reports, Boyd was operating a Ford Focus on Interstate 64 near 14th Street, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle made contact with a concrete median around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
Boyd was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
