COCHISE COUNTY, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Troy Eadler of Sierra Vista, Arizona, has been identified as the pedestrian in a fatal Thursday box truck strike in Cochise County.
Eadler, 45, Director Of Golf at Castle & Cooke and former golf pro at Pueblo Del Sol Country Club, was killed after he was struck by a box truck near Sierra Vista on Thursday.
According to reports, Eadler was on-foot on State Route 92 in the area of Mile Marker 330, when for unknown reasons, he ran in front of a box truck around 6:14 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators say they have “not ruled out suicide.”
The driver of the box truck remained on scene.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
