WILSON COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Spencer Boston, of Lebanon, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday vehicle crash in Wilson County.
Boston, 21, was killed in an overnight single-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 near Mt. Juliet.
According to reports, Boston was operating a vehicle on I-40 near Exit 226, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway early Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a traffic barrier and a guardrail.
Boston, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Boston made headlines last year when he appeared before a judge on a possession of marijuana charge and lit a joint inside the courtroom. He was arrested for contempt of court.
His case was still pending at the time of the deadly incident.
