
GA Man Marlon Reese ID’d As Suspect In Monday Columbus Fatal Shooting Of 70-Year-Old Family Member

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Marlon Reese has been identified as the suspect in a deadly shooting Monday evening in Columbus. 70-year-old Walter Williams, a family member, has been identified as the victim.
Reese, 36, was arrested in the fatal shooting of Williams Monday evening in Columbus.

According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired at 4936 Mehaffey Street in Columbus Monday evening around 4:45 p.m. When they arrived, Williams was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Williams was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Reese, who was detained at the scene, now faces a murder charge in the deadly incident.
