SC Man Allen Dickson ID’d As Victim ‘Run Down’ Friday Night In Scranton Fatal Hit-And-Run

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Allen Dickson, of Olanta, South Carolina, has been identified as the pedestrian in a fatal hit-and-run collision Friday night in Florence County.

Dickson, 26, was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday night near Scranton.

According to reports, Dickson was on-foot in the area of Hwy 52 near East West Lee Flowers Road in Scranton, when he was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene Friday night.

Dickson was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The deadly incident remains under investigation.
