ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Julie Ownbey, of Stockton, California, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal vehicle crash in Alameda County.
Ownbey, 52, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Livermore Tuesday night.
According to reports, Ownbey was operating a Lexus ES 330 on N Livermore Ave near Hartman Road in Livermore, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came contact with a barbed wire fence.
Ownbey, who was ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
