LEE COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Adrian Zurita, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, has been identified as the suspect arrested in a deadly hit-and-run collision Friday night in Lee County.
Zurita, 19, was arrested following a hit-and-run crash near Lehigh Acres that killed one teen and seriously injured another Friday night.
According to reports, two 15-year-old males were were on-foot in the area of Elaine Avenue North and 42nd Street West in Lehigh Acres, when they were struck by a passing vehicle that then fled the scene.
Zurita was later located and arrested on two criminal charges, including leaving the scene with a death and leaving the scene with an injury.
The teen victims have not been identified.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
