EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Donovan Lewis, of Baker, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday night vehicle crash in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Lewis, 26, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Baton Rouge Wednesday night.

According to reports, Lewis was operating a vehicle on South Bluebonnet Boulevard near Nicholson Drive in Baton Rouge, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11 pm. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a tree and burst into flames.
Lewis was pronounced dead on the scene of blunt force and thermal injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
