OLDHAM COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Richard Shepard, of Crestwood, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night in Oldham County.
Shepard, 22, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Pewee Valley Sunday night.
According to reports, Shepard was operating a Honda Civic on Wooldridge Avenue in Pewee Valley, when for unknown reasons, the Honda crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 6:20 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Hyundai Sonata.
Shepard was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The Sonata driver was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
