JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Hamza “Travis” Nagdy has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Jefferson County Monday.
Nagdy, 21, was found shot dead in Louisville Monday morning.
According to reports, Nagdy was found suffering from fatal gunshot injuries in the 2100 block of Crittenden Drive in Louisville around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Nagdy was transported to University of Louisville Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot wounds.
Nagdy was known as the Jefferson Square Park “protest leader” for those gathering to demand for justice for police-involved shooting victim, Breonna Taylor.
The cause of the fatal incident remains under investigation.
