STARK COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Chandler Jimenez, of Canton, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal vehicle crash in Stark County.

Jimenez, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Jackson Township Tuesday night.

According to reports, Jimenez was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle on Fulton Drive Northwest near Everhard Road NW in Canton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then made contact with a fire hydrant and rolled over.

Jimenez was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.

It is unknown if the driver suffered any injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
