WARREN COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — James McVey, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday afternoon motorcycle collision in Warren County, Indiana.
McVey, 53, died following a motorcycle collision involving a pickup truck near Covington Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, McVey was operating a Harley Davidson on US-136 near Wabash River Bridge in Covington, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 2 p.m. Saturday. The bike then came into contact with a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck.
McVey was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the pickup and a passenger were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
