NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — David Valentine, of East Hampton, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday afternoon vehicle crash in New Haven County.
Valentine, 31, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Wallingford Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, Valentine was operating a vehicle on Interstate 91, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Saturday afternoon. The vehicle then made contact with a bridge abutment and burst into flames.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
