UNION COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Todd Michael Murray, of Creston, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in Union County.
Murray, 25, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Creston Wednesday night.

According to reports, Murray was operating a Chevy Impala on Highway 34 near Creston, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then made head-on contact with a Kenworth semi-tractor operated by 42-year-old William J. Caraway of Bondurant.
Murray was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Caraway was not injured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
