THE BRONX, NY (THECOUNT) — Stephanie Gil, of The Bronx, New York, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday night motorcycle crash.
Gil, 18, was killed, in a motorcycle crash that also seriously injured her 20-year-old passenger Monday night.

According to reports, Gil was operating a motorcycle on Hunts Point Avenue near Bryant Avenue in The Bronx, when the bike came into rear-end contact with a parked flatbed truck around 9:20 p.m. Monday.
Both riders were ejected from the bike during the collision.
Gil and her passenger were transported to an area hospital where Gil was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma head injuries. He passenger remains hospitalized with unknown head trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
