SARPY COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Nicholas Scarpino, of Omaha, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday motorcycle collision in Sarpy County.
Scarpino, 23, was killed in a motorcycle crash involving a vehicle near Omaha late Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Scarpino was operating a motorcycle on South 132nd Street near Harrison Street in Omaha, when the bike came into contact with a Mazda 3 around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
The operator of the Mazda, a 74-year-old Bellevue woman, suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Scarpino was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
