HALL COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Stephanie Yvette Hollingsworth, of Gainesville, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday vehicle crash in Hall County.
Hollingsworth, 50, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a teen driver near Gainesville Sunday night.
According to reports, a 16-year-old Hall County girl was operating a Ford Ranger on GA-11 in Gainesville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 7 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then came into contact with a Subaru Forester, operated by 62-year Tony Hollingsworth, of Gainesville.
Subaru passenger, Stephanie Hollingsworth, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Tony Hollingsworth and the teen driver were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
