PINE COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Jerry and Sharon McDowell, of Pine City, Minnesota, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal motorcycle collision in Pine County Sunday afternoon.
Jerry McDowell, 66, and 61-year-old Sharon, were both killed Sunday in a motorcycle crash involving a teen driver near Clover Township.
According to reports, Jerry was operating a motorcycle with Sharon as his passenger on Highway 48, when the bike was rear-ended by a teenage pickup truck driver Sunday afternoon.
The McDowell’s were thrown from the bike during the collision and pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The teen was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
