VERNON PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Ware, of Pitkin, Louisiana, has been identified as the teenage victim in a fatal Friday night vehicle crash in Vernon Parish.
Ware, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Glenmora Friday night.
According to reports, Ware was operating a pickup truck on LA-112 near Forest Hill, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11:45 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then overcorrected and rolled over.
Ware was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
