DELAWARE COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Kenze J. Cox of Sunbury, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night vehicle crash in Delaware County.

Cox, 39, was killed in a two-vehicle collision that injured two children Friday night in Kingston Township.

According to reports, Cox was operating a Mercedes-Benz C250 on N Galena Rd near State Route 521, when the vehicle came into contact with a Chrysler PT Cruiser, operated by 24-year-old Amanda C. Knave of Columbus, around 5 p.m. Friday.

The force of the crash caused both vehicles to exit the roadway. Knave’s vehicle rolled over.

Knave was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition. A child passenger in Knave’s vehicle and two children in Cox’s vehicle were injured in the crash. They were transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Cox was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
