ONEIDA COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Shane Pinard, of Vienna, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal vehicle crash in Oneida County.
Pinard, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that injured two other teens Saturday near Vienna.
According to reports, Pinard was operating a Ford pickup truck on Vienna Road in Vienna, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Saturday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over multiple times.
Pinard was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were passengers were transported with non-life injuries.
