MARSHALL COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Robert Earl Harris, of Boaz, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Marshall County Thursday morning.
Harris, 56, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor Thursday morning near Albertville.
According to reports, Harris was operating a pickup truck on AL-75 near Albertville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 9 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into head-un contact with a big-rig.
Harris was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Possible injuries suffered by the 18-wheeler operator were not proivded.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
