DOUGLAS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Brittni McBride, of Omaha, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday night two-vehicle crash in Douglas County.
McBride, 33, was killed in a two-vehicle crash that also seriously injured two teenagers late Sunday night.
According to reports, Jayden Johnson, 18, was operating a Chevrolet Traverse on 42nd Street near Curtis Avenue in Omaha, when the vehicle came into contact with a Buick Enclave operated by McBride around 10 p.m. Sunday.
McBride, who was ejected from the vehicle during the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Johnson and her passenger, 16-year-old Shelby Putnam, were transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
