WAKULLA COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Edward McNeil Harris Jr, of Crawfordville, Florida, has been identified as the suspect arrested in the fatal overnight shooting of a female in Wakulla County.
Harris, 33, was taken into custody following a fatal shooting near Crawfordville Saturday night.
According to reports, Harris was arrested near Shadeville Rd and Spring Creek Hwy in Crawfordville and subsequently charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon following a Saturday night shooting in Crawfordville that took the life of an unidentified woman.
Harris is being held without bond in the Wakulla County Jail.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
