CUMBERLAND COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Ethan James Derby Tucker, of South Portland, Maine, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday morning vehicle crash in Cumberland County.
Tucker, 18, was killed Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash near Scarborough.
According to reports, Tucker was operating a vehicle on Highland Avenue, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 6:15 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Tucker was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
