SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Jimmie Sue and Darrell Cheek, of Ivanhoe, California, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal Monday night vehicle crash in San Joaquin County.
Sue, 72 and Darrell, 77, were both killed in a head-on crash near Visalia Monday night.

According to reports, a pickup truck, operated by 30-year-old Devin Terry, was traveling on State Highway 198 near Mineral King Road in Three Rivers, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 7 p.m. Monday. The pickup truck then collided head-on with a Nissan Rogue.
The couple in the Nissan were both pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
